Documents required to sell

When you sell a property in Chile, there is a step in the process called “Estudio de titulos”, during which a lawyer review all the documentation related to the property.

This ensures that the buyer will legally be able to own the property… and when there is bank involved to finance, that they will be able to seize it later if the buyer does not pay back the loan.

In total, around 20-25 documents are required… Having all the documents ready early enough allows to detect any potential issue during the sale process… and can save you up to 40 days during the post-sale process. Fill the form below to get the guide.
